BiGiAM are excited and pleased to be working with the glamorous, innovative and truly wonderful Brighton Fashion Week.
BiGiAM are working with all aspects of the event’s sales and sponsorship opportunites. This event is the jewel in Brighton’s fashion calendar.
Brighton has always been a creative hub, attracting the likes of Julien McDonald who studied Fashion Textiles at Brighton University and Barbara Hulanicki, fashion designer and founder of Biba. This year’s Brighton Fashion Week saw designers such as Edward Finney, Hayley Lai, Tim Rhys Evans and Masato grace their catwalks.
Brighton Fashion Week exists because there is a natural and healthy gap for it within the marketplace. Its aim is to encourage and nurture industry creative capital locally, nationally and internationally. It seeks to further establish Brighton as a cultural centre for the fashion industry. Already a fertile and affluent city, Brighton offers a vibrant and unique backdrop of diversity, alternative subcultures, inclusivity, ecological awareness, entertainment and cosmopolitan lifestyle. It brings together the high fashion industry, the mainstream industry, the local, national and international. It is personable, non-exclusive and everyone is invited.
Their objectives are simple: To provide a platform for talented and up-and-coming designers by promoting, developing and supporting their growth. Designers who showcase at Brighton Fashion Week gain invaluable experience and are provided with an opportunity for further progression within the industry.
