Huge Successes: The Great British Rhythm & Blues Festival 2018

Widely known as the biggest roots and blues festival of it’s kind in Europe, the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival took place in Colne over the August bank holiday weekend.

The event is being hailed as a huge success; ticketed events were even busier than last year, with ticket sales being at their highest for the headline shows on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings.

The introduction of a new stage the ‘Mini Muni’ (part of the main Muni venue) was extremely popular; the venue hosting big crowds and a fabulous atmosphere. The festival markets, official busking tents, fun fair and extra street entertainment also proved to be welcome additions.

We were thrilled to play a part in the this event (helping with publicity and promotion) and to work with such a hard working, dedicated and fun team.

There is a huge amount of love and respect for the event via the festival social media, with talks of next year’s event already underway.
