Matt Pearce & The Mutiny release ‘Gotta Get Home’ + Tour Dates

31st July 2019
Big I Am

Matt Pearce & The Mutiny have released radio edit title track ‘Gotta Get Home’ ahead of their national tour supporting Laurence Jones.

The track, which is on the ‘Gotta Get Home’ album – released earlier this year, has been added to the Planet Rock playlist, and the album has received great response, rising to #1 in the Amazon Best Selling Blues Albums and Hot New Releases charts, and has garnered some great reviews from Blues and Rock press.

Maximum Volume described the album as ‘As if Prince is jamming with Bonamassa. One of the most confident, classy and promising blues debuts in ages‘. And single ‘Gotta Get Home’ embodies just that. You can listen to the track on Spotify here.

Now, Matt Pearce & The Mutiny are ready to tour, and will be joining Laurence Jones as they play all over the UK, visiting London, Glasgow, Birmingham and many more.

Matt says, “After some amazing one-off festival shows this year it’s beyond exciting to now be taking The Mutiny out on the road for our first ever tour, as guests of the inimitable Laurence Jones! To take our groovy bluesy sounds to the length and breadth of the UK is something I’ve been wanting to do for a long time, so to go back and play in my hometown of Glasgow is the icing on this very funky cake!

Unfortunately the changed scheduling means that we won’t be able to appear at Planet Rockstock; however the great folks at Planet Rock have offered to change us over to play at their Winter’s End festival. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank Darren Redick, Jon Norman and the team there for all their help and support with the album and for playlisting both singles released so far.
