South Downs Music – New Music Resource

An exciting new website launches today celebrating the rich and varied music of the South Downs.

The new site, South Downs Music, brings together a range of songs, tunes and other resources that highlight the fantastic tapestry of musical heritage that comes from the country’s newest National Park – the South Downs National Park.

The project has come to fruition after Roger Nash from the Southdowns Folk Festival, alongside BiGiAM Promotions and Management, worked closely with the South Downs National Park Authority, which provided funding through its Sustainable Communities Fund.

The ‘South Downs Music’ website is accessible for everyone, but will be especially useful to schools, choirs, community groups and other organisations who want to learn and perform musical material from the website.
